The steam train departs for Dartmouth from the middle of the town, adjacent to the station for connections to Torquay, Exeter, London and the Midlands. You can also see Torbay Road which leads down to the seafront with the multiplex cinema in the distance. In the other direction, the pedestrianised town centre where there is a Tesco Metro, Boots, Wh Smith and Costa Coffee amongst others.
