If you are looking for a caravan holiday, the Hoburne Holiday Park sits between Brixham and Paignton on the English Riviera with views across the bay. From the site, you can walk down to Goodrington Beach in around 10 to 15 minutes. It’s a nice sandy beach with a gentle slope into the sea for safe bathing. There are good facilities on the beach too, with kiosks serving hot and cold feet (though hot food is quite expensive), life guards in the summer, toilets and pedalo hire.

The park itself has extensive facilities which include:
- An indoor pool with slide and shallow areas for children.
- A soft play area.
- Bar with food and nightly entertainment.
- A well stocked shop.
- An outdoor pool and play area.
Also within walking distance are a useful row of shops at Goodrington, including:
- A Chinese takeaway.
- A fish and chip shop.
- Off-licence.
- A convenience store.
- HSBC cash machine.
- The Waterside pub.
- A petrol station (one of the cheapest in the bay, or it is at the time of writing).
It’s also worth mentioning the wider area and what there is to do in the English Riviera and South Devon. For children:
- Kents Cavern.
- The Hi-Flyer balloon.
- Torquay Museum.
- Cockington Village.
- Bygones Victorian Museum.
- Torre Abbey.
The exciting thing about all these places to visit is that they are all within 5 miles of the Holiday Park. You can find our more about the caravan holidays on the Hoburne website.
